Layaly is one of our favorite place to dine when we are in San Francisco. This place is not crowded, child friendly and the service is pretty efficient. They have great vegan food as well as meat options. My favorite is the Dhanie dish (slow cooked lamb stew), which I have never encountered in any other restaurant.

One of the best food in bay area, really you have to try it.

The BEST place for Mediterranean food. Excellent and welcoming service with a warm atmosphere.

I got the lamb platter. Good enough but very basic. Lamb was dry, rice was dry. Athena brand Dolmas from a can. Ingredients were fresh and food was easy to eat but was nothing special. 2.5 stars. I would not recommend.

I went here with my wife, daughter and mother-in-law midweek. The decor was a bit antiseptic, but this was the best Lebanese food I've had in the US since returning from Lebanon. The Hummus was outstanding, Kibbeh excellent, and the kabobs excellent too. When we went it was not very busy, though.

I loved the place, my wife was less enthusiastic about it. Food was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Bill was a bit high.

I just wish I lived closer! It was delicious, had a great vibe and attentive staff!

Yasmine and her family are incredible. I called the morning of an event, and they made two giant spinach pies for me in just a few hours. They were fresh, flakey, and delicious - a huge hit at my event. I can't speak to the rest of the food (yet!) but my whole experience with the Palmyra family was amazing. I can't wait to go back for more!

ya , hummus smooth like butter

Quick and polite service. The falafel appetizer was decent. The chicken kebabs were tender and moist. My steak wrap was quite tasty. Definitely will be back!

Great food, good service

The food we ordered was excellent. Started and the Mezze appetizer plate so we could taste a bit of everything. The baba ghanoush one of the best I've ever had. We split the Layaly grill mix kabobs (for one) and there was plenty of food for 2. Beef a bit too cooked, vegetables, chicken and shrimp were perfect! Service is attentive and cordial. Small restaurant but nice atmosphere!

Nice place, food tasted alright. However the Kofte wrap I got was kinda dry, and the beef/lamb isn't sliced like traditional wraps. It looked kinda like a sausage in a dry tortilla with fresh veggies

Enjoyed eating here because of the wide selection on the menu. The combo plate appetizer was really terrific.

I cannot begin to explain how many ways this place reminds me of Mediterranean/Turkish food I've had in the past. Hints of the most innocuous things combine to transport me to a place and a time I never thought I would experience again. Unbelievable.

The food is amzings, you can get full just by eating their appetizers and drinking delicious wine.Once again a lot of options for vegetarians.Decor is simple and the restaurant is tine, but it is not a bad thing. It gets you into the atmosphear and it is plesant.Waites are helpful. They answer all the quations you might have.
